Emily Chase has loved residential construction since she took her first drafting class in high school. The idea of giving people a place to make all their own and build memories with their families is why she does what she does. Emily graduated from Brigham Young University – Idaho, with a degree in Construction Management with an emphasis in Business Management and Architecture. Shortly after graduating, she became part of the Verity Homes team, working as a purchasing assistant and drafter. Her role has since grown to focus primarily on purchasing and estimating. Since joining the Verity team, she has created estimates for hundreds of homes and spent countless hours making sure estimates and selling prices are as accurate as possible to give our customers a realistic plan for budgeting and building their dream home. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, close friends and family, especially when pizza is involved!
Arthur Goldammer is the founder and current CEO of Verity Homes, Inc. (VHI), which launched in 2006. His career in the construction industry, however, began when we founded Goldammer Contracting in 2002, a Bismarck-based firm dedicated to custom home and commercial construction, as well as home remodeling and improvement projects.
He went on to create and lead VHI from a start-up in 2006 — during the start of the housing downturn — to one of the largest home building companies in central North Dakota. Under his direction, the company has since expanded to the eastern side of the state, opening a new custom home design center in Fargo in 2018, which earned national distinction as a “Top 5 Design Studios in the US” by the National Homebuilders Association. Today, Verity Homes offers customers in North Dakota’s two major markets a personal home building experience no other competitor can match.
Arthur’s extensive experience in the construction industry goes back to his childhood, when he could be seen wearing around his first tool belt and swinging a toy hammer. His passion for construction never wavered, and in fact it grew to include delivering personal, customer-focused experiences that competitors now try to duplicate.
Arthur has spent the bulk of his professional career managing, developing and growing his various construction firms and company portfolios. His roles and duties include negotiating land acquisition, land development, product development, staff coaching & training. He attended the University of Mary for four years prior to venturing out into the business arena.
In the few hours he allows himself away from the work desk, Arthur loves to get out and enjoy the great outdoors with his wife, Rachel Goldammer.
Sabrina (Bree) Jahner joined the Verity Homes team in 2010 as an Administrative Assistant and has since been promoted to lead roles as Warranty Administrator and Customer Care Coordinator. Prior to joining the Verity team, she gained valuable experience in sales, public relations and supervisory positions with various local companies. As the Warranty Administrator, Bree is the primary contact for new homeowners after they have moved into their home, assisting them in any way to make sure their Verity experience is the best it can be and ensuring Peace of Mind. As the Customer Care Coordinator, her role is to be the primary contact for tenants of GoldStar Property Management. She assists them with maintenance, service and billing related items. Besides the official titles that Bree holds, she has grown to become a valuable member of the team while assisting other team members with her broad knowledge based and years of experience that she has earned over the years. She is a key player in the day-to-day operations here at Verity Homes. Bree grew up on a small farm in North Dakota, where she learned the value of hard work, dedication and determination. Bree uses these skills to assist homeowners and tenants and ensure they have a great experience with both Verity and GoldStar. When she’s not hard at work serving the needs of our customers, Bree loves spending her down time with family, friends and her two favorite pups at home.
With more than a dozen years of international commercial and residential building and managerial experience, Nate Parent brings expertise, passion and attention to detail to each and every job site. As your Personal Builder, Nate takes professional pride in craftsmanship, customer relationships and delivering Peace of Mind to our Verity Homes customers. His extensive first-hand knowledge of the Bismarck construction environment gives him the understanding to schedule with confidence, anticipate any bottlenecks and ensure a quality product on time and on budget. Born in the US and raised in New Zealand, Nate was trained by Naylor Love, one of New Zealand’s largest and most successful construction firms. After relocating to North Dakota in 2012, Nate has been instrumental in delivering commercial projects in Bismarck, Williston and Dickinson, many of which were multi-million-dollar developments. Nate met his wife Amanda in Dickinson and lives in NW Bismarck with their three daughters. Nate enjoys his time off with family, horses, mountain biking around Harmon Lake and working on DIY projects around the home.
Chloe Bentson joined the Verity Homes team early in 2021, taking on the position of Closing Coordinator & Sales Associate. In her new role, she will play an important part in the final steps of the new home construction process, helping customers stay on track with their closing schedule. Born in Fargo, ND, Chloe actually grew up as a farm kid just outside of Mott, ND. She worked in the medical field — in the operating room, to be precise — for the previous seven years before deciding the time was right to make a change. She was drawn to Verity thanks to the company’s commitment to the communities we serve, our customers and our fellow team members. Chloe is also a mom to a little girl and enjoys spending her free time with family and playing pinochle. You will also find her outside on the water in the summer, playing the piano and participating in volleyball or some pickup basketball when the opportunity arises.
Katie Zimmer joined the Verity Homes team in 2021 as a New Home Specialist, bringing with her more than 10 years of sales and customer service experience, ranging from auto sales to clothing. She knows how to put the customer’s needs first and prioritizes open communication with her home buyers. Katie was born and raised in Bismarck, so she knows the market extremely well. Her husband is also a Bismarck native, and the two have a not-so-secret love of games. ALL GAMES, as she will tell you. Indoor or outdoor, board games or card games, if they’re not playing they’re sucked into a Netflix binge (mention anything starring Adam Sandler and you’ll be fast friends). Katie came on board with Verity Homes to grow as a person and a professional. She is fascinated by architecture and her passion shows through with every customer interaction. Katie will definitely work overtime to help you realize your dream home.
DeAnn Dingus was no stranger to the Verity Homes team when she came on board early in 2021. She and her husband have been longtime Bismarck residents and friends with several Veritans. So she was a natural fit and took on the role of New Home Specialist, helping customers through the home building process. DeAnn brings a true desire to help others to her customer relationships. As a former daycare owner and operator, that part of the job comes easily to her. But she also has a background in sales and plans to get her real estate license in order to gain a wider audience of home buyers. When she’s not working a deal or making a visit to a job site with her customers, DeAnn loves to spend time at the lake and on the river with her friends and family. She is active in volleyball and adult kickball leagues, and is always busy chasing after her three kids (who are also busy with traveling sports and various activities).
Lucas Stetz (Luke to everyone but his mother) joined the Verity Homes team in 2021 as our VP of Construction and is based out of our Fargo office. He brings years of construction industry and leadership experience to the production team, but perhaps more importantly he’s got the energy and passion required to lead our Fargo operation to a new level of efficiency and professionalism. Luke grew up in Moorhead, MN, and attended MSCTC and Lake Superior College in Duluth for Construction Management and Fire Technology. He spent the previous several years leading the construction team with another local builder before deciding it was time for a new challenge. Luke is married with two young kids, as well as an Australian Shepherd named Charley and a cat named Kitty. While he enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing and relaxing, he finds himself spending the majority of his free time chasing their oldest around hockey rinks and trying to keep up with his youngest as she competes in cheer and dance. But worry not… you’ll find him in the woods with his bow, chasing the elusive trophy buck from September through December.
Spencer Nordman joined Verity Homes in 2021 as Controller on the accounting team. His a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and brings several years of financial experience to the team, having spent three years in public accounting with Widmer Roel and five years in various internal audit and fraud prevention roles with Discovery Benefits (now WEX Health). Spencer earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in accounting from NDSU in Fargo. He and his wife have a young son and another baby on the way (and by the time you read this, they’ll likely be a family of four already!). Like every good accountant, Spencer likes to hit the golf course as much as possible, although he admits his time on the links has greatly diminished since becoming a father. And like every good Midwesterner, he spends most summer weekends at the lake with his family and friends.
Ben Hanson joined the Verity Homes team in the summer of 2017, taking on the role of Internet Sales Association. Like most everyone on the Verity Homes team, however, Ben’s role quickly expanded to include other duties all with the goal of delivering Peace of Mind to our customers. A writer by training — with more than 15 years of experience — one of Ben’s additional roles is that of company copywriter. When there’s a press release that needs writing or a webpage that needs editing, Ben’s the one everyone turns to for help. His main focus is on educating new visitors to the website or to our Fargo design studio, where he is based. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English and Mass Communications from Minnesota State University – Moorhead in 2005. When he’s not “clocked in” at Verity, Ben still finds time to freelance, writing feature stories for various advertising clients, as well as a bi-monthly column in a local Fargo magazine. His online persona — Mr. Full-Time Dad — is more than an alter ego… as his favorite role is that of father to his two kids, Macklin and Harrison.
Jessica (Jess) Janu joined the Verity Homes team in 2020 as a New Home Specialist working out of our Fargo office. She’s a veteran of the new home construction industry, coming to Verity from another local builder. She knows the Fargo-West Fargo housing market very well and brings a deep understanding of the home building process that will be a huge asset to her customers. Originally from the Twin Cities, Jess came to North Dakota to play basketball at the University of Jamestown, where she studied Health Administration. She entered the world of real estate in Fargo in 2017, working for Keller Williams until quickly jumping right into new home construction sales in 2018. Jess and her husband, Dan, have a baby girl named Blakelyn, along with two big puppies. They love getting back to the cities as much as possible to visit friends and family, and in the summer they spend as much time as they can at the lake. Jess likes to stay active and routinely mops the floor with her hubby during one-on-one pickup basketball.
Jaymie Emmerich joined the Verity Homes team in 2021 as our Senior Financial Analyst. She brings several years of financial industry experience to the team, including more than 10 years with Gate City Bank and nearly two years with First Western Bank and Trust. As a volunteer with Junior Achievement and United Way, her dedication to her community fits perfectly within the core values of Verity Homes.
Jaymie was born and raised in Moorhead, MN, and she is busy raising two kids, Jack and Mason. She is creative, passionate and committed to her work on the Verity accounting team. Away from the office, it’s sports, sports, sports! She is an avid golfer (don’t you have to be if you ever worked at a bank?), loves to watch hockey and describes fantasy football as her “jam.”
Jamie Willert was born in Roseau, MN, but has called the Fargo-Moorhead area home since 2003. He joined the Verity Homes team early in 2021 as a Builder, working alongside our VP of Construction in the Fargo market. Jamie has been in the construction industry since he was 17 years old and brings to the team experience with masonry, excavation, sewer and water and heavy equipment operations. Jamie was drawn to the Verity team by his desire to be the best — and make Verity the best. He has quickly demonstrated his dedication to the team and Verity Homes customers, as he brings a professional level of efficiency and responsibility to each job site he visits. In his free time away from work, Jamie is an avid outdoorsmen and athlete. Hunting, fishing, hiking and archery rank near the top, but he’s quick to point out the growing sport of pickleball, which he says is the fastest growing sport in the nation. Jamie also recently got married to the love of his life, Amara, after being together for more than 10 years. They look forward to raising a family together and enjoy traveling and partaking in the local cuisines.
David Flakker joined the Verity Homes team in 2021 and currently leads the company’s Purchasing and Estimating team. He brings more than 25 years of combined experience in residential construction and technical support. He’s a wizard with excel and numbers, ensuring our customers’ have reliable and consistent costs in order to make informed decisions about their home budget. Prior to coming on board with Verity, David held the titles of Manager of Design and Drafting, as well as Purchasing, Estimating and Drafting Manager for another locally owned home builder serving the eastern North Dakota markets of Fargo and Grand Forks. So he hit the ground running when he joined Verity. In his free time, David enjoys traveling, tinkering on home improvement projects, gardening, cooking and “dog waste cleanup” in the backyard.
Vecta Tietz joined the Verity Homes team in 2021, already a well-known face to the team. Her husband, Chris, is the Managing Director for our sister company, Kreativ Homes. Vecta took on the position of Starts Coordinator for Verity and will ensure our production schedule runs smoothly from the get go. Vecta grew up in a small town in Montana, where her family still resides. She met Chris and started a family (two boys, Trevin and Treys), and they moved around from ND to SD to MT before ultimately returning to the Bismarck-Mandan community they have called home since 2007. Before joining Team Verity, Vecta spent years working in the banking world, most of it as a loan officer. In her time away from the office, Vecta and her family love spending time on the river in the summer months, while hiding out inside playing games with family and friends during the winter.

Heather Gooss joined the Verity Homes team in 2021 — or, to be more accurate, re-joined the team after a previous stint as an office intern with the company in 2016. Today, she works in the purchasing and estimating team as an Estimating Assistant, helping monitor costs and deliver accurate numbers to our production team and customers. Heather is currently working towards a Master’s degree in data science. Prior to coming back on board with Verity, she was doing freelance work in the world of database analysis. So needless to say, she’s good with numbers… and you’d be a fool to challenge her in Excel. In her freetime, Heather enjoys baking, crocheting, reading and camping. She comes from a large family with five siblings and has a cat named Desi, who makes regular appearances on company Zoom calls.

Becky Fell joined the Verity Team in 2020 as part of our expanding accounting department. Her role has her overseeing accounts payable, HR onboarding for new team members, as well as accounting functions for our rental home division. A graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, Becky is originally from Hankinson, ND and came to Verity Homes looking for a new adventure with some very familiar responsibilities. Becky served as Accounting Manager for many years with Tharaldson Property Management/TMI Hospitality, as well as with Meridian Commercial Construction. So, yes, she brings a wealth of experience and direct expertise in the world of construction and project management. When she’s not crunching numbers or perfecting her Excel spreadsheeting, Becky is a busy mom to three kids and is looking forward to an October 2021 wedding! She enjoys traveling, movies, thunderstorms, walks, trapshooting and spending time with friends and family… and the occasional happy hour on the patio.
Chris Tietz is the General Manager of Kreativ Homes, a new modular/manufactured home division within the greater Verity Homes portfolio. He is a North Dakota native who grew up in Williston, eventually making his way to Bismarck, where he and his wife, Vecta, live with their two sons. Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and has a real passion for finding new ways to connect with customers. He has been in sales for more than 20 years, and over the past ten years he has become a leader in the Upper Midwest for his work in the manufactured / modular / system-built homes industry. For her role, Vecta brings decades of experience in the world of banking to Kreativ Homes, and she will help to guide customers through their different financing options. She will also be the design expert when the new clients are choosing their décor. Chris’ main drive is to find affordable, creative solutions that deliver high quality housing for North Dakota and throughout the region. His goal in developing Kreativ Homes was to constantly improve the customer experience from the start of the process all the way through closing and handing over of the keys. After spending more than a decade in the industry, he realized most modular home builders are stuck in the old ways of doing business, even though the industry is perfectly suited to harness advancements in technology to improve efficiency and overall customer service. Chris and the Kreativ Homes team recognize the opportunity to combine the big benefits of system-built homes — affordability, customization, faster construction timelines — with a modern experience that puts the customer in control of the finished product. Chris and Vecta have two sons — Trevin, who works at Bobcat and is always busy chasing around his own young son, Sylas; and Treys, who is a Junior at Mandan High School and enjoys football, basketball, track and leisure jet skiing in the summer.
Shawna Hastings joined the sales team at Verity Homes in 2020, bringing more than 20 years of sales experience to the team! Her background includes furniture and design, manufactured and modular home building, lighting, advertising and marketing and she also holds a real estate license from a previous life in California. To say the obvious: her background makes the entire Verity Homes team stronger and more well-rounded. Like a few other Veritans, Shawna is also very passionate about fitness and living a healthy life. She managed a weight loss company and has enjoyed competing in several bodybuilding competitions. She joined Verity to help bring a similar sense of accomplishment and pride to our home buyers. When she’s not out showing a home or helping write up a contract for a new buyer, Shawna enjoys getting back to the west coast as much as possible. She loves to jog by the ocean and visit old friends. Here in Bismarck — where she has called home for most of her life after being born in Williston — she loves time on the Missouri river, soaking in the hot tub and hanging at home with her German Shepherd, new baby and grandbabies!
Sebastian (Bash) Milz joined the Verity Homes team early on in the company’s expansion eastward into the Fargo-West Fargo market. He is the epitome of a team player, pitching in his skills and expertise in nearly every department at one time or another. He currently serves as VP of Creative Marketing, putting his graphic design skills to use on the website, brochures and all forms of digital marketing and branding. Bash grew up in Texas, but with a father in the military he spent several years overseas. His life experience has been a huge asset to Verity Homes. He earned his Associates degree in Graphic Design and Photography, as well as a Bachelor’s in Graphic Art and a minor in Marketing. His professional resume includes positions in the construction industry, lending and underwriting and hospitality. Though he likes to keep himself as busy as possible with work and freelance opportunities, Bash is a bigtime fisherman during the summer. He’s also got a young daughter who loves to spend time with her father reading, playing and getting into mischief.
Rory Anderson has been a core member of the Verity Homes family for more than ten years. He was our top sales producer year after year, and currently serves as the Director of Sales for Verity Homes. As Director, Rory provides each of our customers with a wealth of building knowledge and experience and is also a dedicated mentor to the rest of our sales team. Rory’s 20+ career in sales began with some family inspiration. His father, Tom Anderson, spent more than 25 years of his sales career with the Chrysler Corporation. Rory followed suit and worked in the automotive industry for 10 years, eight of which he spent in the role of Finance Director where he gained valuable experience that he uses today helping Verity Homes’ customers manage their budgets wisely throughout the building process. After a decade or so in the car business, Rory determined the sales model used at the dealerships was too focused on getting the sale and not focused nearly enough on delivering a quality buying experience for his customers. So, when he learned about the customer-centric model being used at Verity Homes, the decision to join the team was easy and he hasn’t looked back since. Rory has held numerous accreditations and certifications in both Sales and Financing, along with being elected and/or appointed to a Director or Board member role with the Bismarck-Mandan Home Builders Association, the North Dakota Association of Builders and the Fargo-Moorhead Home Builders Association. As our Director of Sales, Rory likes to personally meet each customer and be involved and help however he can in order to ensure a next-level experience for all customers of Verity Homes. Rory works with his wife, Ashley Anderson (Director of Marketing), at Inspirations by Verity in our Fargo headquarters and enjoys what the Fargo-Moorhead community has to offer. In their spare time, Rory and Ashley enjoy watching their son, Trevor, compete in numerous high school sports activities throughout the year.
It’s not too much of a stretch to say that Delton Kroh is the overall MVP for Verity Homes. Not only does he hold the positions of Warranty Manager, Service Manager and Customer Care Manager (for both Verity Homes and our rental division, Goldstar Properties), he’s the guy that can fix anything… and can teach you how to do it on your own. His experience, construction knowledge, passion and ability to put our customers at ease when concerns arise is the very definition of invaluable. Folks who’ve had the pleasure of working with Delton — be it a fellow Verity teammate or a customer with a warranty claim — will understand exactly why we speak so highly of him. Delton began his career with Verity Homes back in 2001, when our CEO, Arthur Goldammer, first started up Goldammer Contracting… and he’s been with us ever since. In all, he brings more than 37 years of building experience to the team and our customers. He first started framing homes in Washington, where he also earned an IT degree (back when floppy discs were all the rage). He has a keen eye for detail and being mostly self-taught in all areas of construction, he also has a knack for training and teaching others his craft. When the right tool for the job doesn’t exist, Delton machines it himself in his home workshop. When the trade partner may not honor their work, he steps up to fix the problem himself. When a rookie joins the team and has questions, Delton is the guy they go to for help. We could not ask for a better example of Verity Homes’ mission statement — Build Peace of Mind.
Nicholas Skarphol joined the Verity Homes team in 2020 as a full-time drafter. He is a 2001 graduate of North Dakota State College of Sciences, earning his Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting and Estimating. Nicholas has spent his entire career in the construction industry, working both in the office as well as in the field. He and his wife have two kids, and when he’s not in the office working, chances are good you’ll find him on the ice coaching hockey and chasing kids on skates.
Sally Goldammer wears multiple hats at Verity Homes. Part Accounting Manager, part Administrative Assistant and part “front of house” manager who always seems to know the answer when nobody else does, Sally has a way of keeping the day-to-day functions of both Verity Homes offices — Fargo and Bismarck — in check and moving forward. As one of two lead administrators for implementing and maintaining Verity’s various and interrelated software packages, Sally ensures the rest of the team has the tools they need to get their work done on behalf of our customers. As the Executive Assistant to Verity’s CEO — Arthur Goldammer, Sally’s big brother — she helps track, organize and coordinate all accounting activities, prepares critical operations reports and coordinates all on-site and in-house technical assistance requests. Prior to joining Verity Homes, Sally worked at Bismarck Surgical ASsociates as an Administrative Assistant, scheduling and maintaining confidential patient records and ensured those patients were effectively all while demonstrating an innate sense of compassion and care for patients and their families. At Verity, she brings that same level of passion and care to each of our customers.
FrankieSue Pierson is a New Home Specialist with Verity Homes. She joined the team in 2018 and focused strictly on selling new construction, but she has since taken on the additional role of Leasing Specialist for Goldstar Properties (GSP), Verity Home’s rental division. FrankieSue’s goal in both roles is to deliver more than just a home — she strives to create a lasting memory and a truly exceptional experience for our customers and their families. Before joining Verity Homes, FrankieSue worked as a CNA for more than five years at a skilled nursing home on the transitional & rehabilitation floor. She has always had a passion for helping and caring for people, skills that translate perfectly to the Verity Homes’ mission to deliver Peace of Mind. Not only is FrankieSue passionate about her career with Verity Homes and GSP, she’s also an inspired health and wellness professional — after a 13-year amature gymnastics career, she moved into the world of competitive bodybuilding and has competed in several shows, twice qualifying for national bikini competitions. FrankieSue and her husband, Steven, are currently working on opening up their own gym and strip mall that will include a restaurant, nutrishop, hair salon, therapist and chiropractor, as well as additional spaces available for rent. FrankieSue is a stepmother to two beautiful girls, Aaliysah & Kaidence, and her family also includes five animals: Diezel her Pocket Bully Pit, Scooby Doo The Great Dane, Binx her Medium Short Hair Cat, Penelope AKA Peanut sister to Binx, and Tigger her Exotic Bengal Cat! FrankieSue is originally from Colorado, where her father used to build homes, and she moved up here when she was 5 years old and has been in North Dakota ever since.
Ashley Anderson joined Verity Homes in 2015 as a Sales Assistant, and quickly demonstrated a mastery of organization and attention to detail as she helped New Home Specialists complete paperwork, manage the sales process and ensure clear communication with their customers. Her value to the team was evident from the start, and Ashley soon earned a promotion to Sales & Marketing Manager, overseeing all day-to-day processes, long-term planning and budgeting for the sales and marketing departments. During her time with Verity Homes, Ashley discovered a real passion for both home building and interior design. She took on the responsibilities of picking out selections for both inventory homes, as well as new customer homes, and found not only did she have a passion for it, she had a keen eye and a style that our customers really connected with. Today, Ashley continues to be our lead Selections Coordinator, taking customers through the entire process of picking out all the finishing touches for their customized homes. In 2020, Ashley was again promoted to the position of Marketing Director, formally recognizing the leadership role she had long held within the company. Her favorite part of job is coming up with creative ways to market to our three target demographics (first time home buyer, first time move up and empty nester) and relying on analytics to see results and better our efforts based off those results. Her husband, Rory Anderson, is also on team Verity, and together the two head up the Sales and Marketing teams, overseeing efforts in both Bismarck and Fargo markets.
Matthew Riopelle joined the Verity Homes family as our Chief Operations Officer in the summer of 2020 after nine years in the United States Army. He is a Fargo native and graduate of West Point, where he earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering before going on to earn a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Missouri Science and Technology. Following West Point in 2012 he was commissioned into the U.S. Army as an Infantry Officer and spent the next eight years serving in a variety of positions — a Platoon leader in the 82nd Airborne Division, a Long Range Reconnaissance Instructor, and an Operations Officer. During his years of service, Matt deployed to both Afghanistan and Poland. Matt oversees all operational aspects of Verity Homes, covering both Fargo and Bismarck markets. His focus is working with our building and production teams to ensure a smooth experience for all of our customers. When he’s not at the office, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Allison, and their 2-year-old son, Odin and on his hobbies, including wood working in the garage and the occasional game of pick up hockey.
