One-stop design shop: Verity studio provides floor plans, design options in one place

FARGO – Anyone who has built their own home could tell you selecting a floor plan is just the beginning.

The hardest work is what comes next – going all over town picking out the finishes for the home – from flooring to faucets and everything in between. However, Verity Homes is the latest home builder to make it a little bit easier by bringing it all under one roof.

This month, Verity (which is Latin for “honesty plus truth”) has opened “Inspirations by Verity” – what they call “North Dakota’s most state-of-the-art home design studio,” located at 4150 19th Ave. S., Fargo.

Verity owner and CEO Arthur Goldammer says they work with anyone from young first-time homebuyers to thirty- or forty-somethings moving up to second homes to empty nesters looking to downsize to a twin home. (Once lots are purchased and homes are completed prices range from just under $200,000 to more than $400,000.) Like the floor plans themselves, the choices for fixtures, decor and design within the studio space vary.

“Products are offered in levels or tiers, so it’s easy to select,” Goldammer says. “We don’t use allowances and expect our customers to go out and find things on their own.”

Because the items are pre-priced, Verity customers will know in one day how much everything will cost installed and constructed in their particular floor plan.

A New Type Of Showroom

“Verity Homes is all about providing a fun and engaging home building experience for our clients. We don’t just build homes… we build peace of mind. We want our customers to love the experience as much as they love their new custom home.”

The Preserve At Hadley Meadows

Located in the heart of West Fargo, this new settlement is anything but plain. The Preserve at Hadley Meadows is a community of San Francisco-style townhomes built by Verity Homes.

Featuring outdoor amenities, these low-maintenance townhomes appeal to Millennials and Baby Boomers alike. Come along with us as we learn about the builder and explore the signature floor plans this neighborhood has to offer.

Established in 1999, Verity Homes is known for building custom homes in Bismarck, but in the last two years they have expanded into Fargo. One of the reasons why Verity Homes has generated so much interest is because they specialize in customization.

Part of the appeal of The Preserve at Hadley Meadows is the low-maintenance lifestyle that many homeowners tend to gravitate toward.

“We really wanted to tie in a younger energy and offer something for first time home buyers, and also have a lot to offer for someone who’s retiring and doesn’t want the maintenance of a single-family home,” Elizabeth Nelson of Verity Homes conveyed.

There are ten signature floor plans available in The Preserve at Hadley Meadows, each named after a different type of bird. These floor plans are split into three categories: Signature Luxury Townhomes, The Sky Terrace Collection and The Bungalows.

In the following pages, we’ll give you an inside look at the Oriole floor plan, a sneak peak of the Sandpiper and side-by-side comparisons of the other layouts.

Verity Homes builds ‘Homes for Hope’ to fight global poverty, support local charities

Verity Homes has teamed up with HOPE International to fight poverty around the world, while also supporting locally-operated charities here in North Dakota. Participating in the organization’s “Homes for Hope” program, Verity recently completed the construction and sale of two new homes, one in West Fargo and one in Bismarck. Proceeds from the two home sales will be donated to HOPE International, Central Dakota Humane Society (CDHS) in Mandan and 4 Luv of Dog Rescue in Fargo. A public ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the Bismarck homesite — 7814 Nicklaus Drive — on Monday, Aug. 7, at 11:00 a.m.

After learning about Homes for Hope at a homebuilders seminar, Verity CEO Arthur Goldammer saw an opportunity. As one of North Dakota’s most prominent home builders, Verity could harness its network of land developers, suppliers and skilled tradesmen to donate their time, talents and resources to give back to their communities simply by doing what they do best—build homes.

“Everyone involved that supports us through donations, labor or material discounts enable all of us to do what we normally do every day and are good at, while helping those in need both locally and globally,” Goldammer said. “I can’t think of a better partnership for Verity, and we plan to continue working with HOPE to put our homebuilding skills to great use.”

Since 1999, Homes for Hope has worked with the homebuilding industry to generate more than $10 million in financial support for HOPE International’s microeconomic development programs that fight poverty around the world. The organization has completed more than 100 homes to date, resulting in an estimated one million micro loans aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty by empowering aspiring entrepreneurs. Partnering with HOPE since 2015, Verity alone has empowered more than 1,380 entrepreneurs with funding to get their small business off the ground.

“We just fell in love with HOPE’s philosophy of helping people help themselves out of poverty, versus simply donating money and not necessarily know where it’s going or who it’s helping,” Goldammer said. “Just as HOPE enables the individuals it serves to utilize their God-given talents, we’re also able to make use of our talents in service to them.”

HOPE isn’t the only non-profit organization that is benefitting from Verity’s charity home build. Part of the proceeds from these two most recent Homes for Hope sales will be staying local, supporting two area animal shelters—4 Luv of Dog Rescue in Fargo and CDHS in Mandan. Verity wanted to give back to local charities that are dedicated to helping those who can’t help themselves, and dog rescue organizations fit that mission well.

The ribbon cutting ceremony from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, will include remarks from Verity CEO, Arthur Goldammer; Homes for Hope Executive Director, Jack Nulty; as well as representatives from the Central Dakota Humane Society. Goldammer will also recognize the businesses and partners who have generously donated to the Homes for Hope builds, including Burnt Creek Group, ABC Supply Co Inc., All Comfort Insulation Inc., Ben’s Electric, Brad Bonnet Contracting Inc., Bowers Excavating, Capitol City Gutter and Supply, Carpet World Inc., Concrete Structures LLC., Corbels and Plinths, Fleck’s Furniture & Appliances, Front Street Millwork Inc., Hebron Brick & Block Inc., Hefty Painting & Coating Inc., International ProContractor, Midwest Doors, Northern Stone Inc., Ramos Plumbing Inc., SWI Interiors, Tamarack Materials, Inc., Top Line Solutions, Truss Systems, Wes-Lon Services LLC, Signarama, Gate City Bank, Bismarck Title Company, Trademark Realty, EP Construction, Double RR, Paul’s Bobcat Service and Brent Faehnrich Construction. Light refreshments will be served and the public is invited to come celebrate.
