[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Verity Homes Customer Spotlight: Cindy & Dean Navratil[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Like so often happens here in North Dakota, the story of Cindy and Dean Navratil finding themselves living in (and loving) a new Verity Home on Bismarck’s north side is one of those “what a small world” stories.

Living in Hazen, ND, at the time, the Navratils first heard about Verity Homes back when we went by the name Red Door Homes. Cindy was nearing 27 years as the Head Cook at Sakakawea Medical Center in Hazen, where she met and unofficially adopted Sabrina Jahner.

Current Verity homeowners know Sabrina as “Bree,” who now heads up our in-house warranty department.

“Bree took me out for lunch one day after she started working for Verity Homes,” Cindy said, “and she took me on a tour of a home and I fell in love with the Dresden floor plan she showed me. Inspired To Move

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Navratils weren’t exactly thinking about moving at the time — they hadn’t prepped their home for selling, they didn’t really want to move to the bigger city of Bismarck and the housing market in Hazen wasn’t ripe for selling… or so they thought. But Dean retired from Dakota Gasification after 33 years, Cindy was ready for a change and Bismarck would bring them closer to family. Their first impression with Verity Homes didn’t hurt, either.

“We came through one of the Parade of Homes,” Cindy said, “and we fell in love with a home in Lincoln. We didn’t want to live in Bismarck… wanted a smaller town feel coming from Hazen. But our youngest daughter and grand babies were here. We were coming to Bismarck almost every weekend, so we didn’t miss out on anything. My mom is down here in a nursing home and I’ve got a lot of family here, which ultimately helped spur the move. And of course the shopping!”[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”6398″ image_size=”large”][vc_column_text]It wasn’t until the following Parade of Homes when the Navratils discovered and fell in love with their current home out near Hawktree Golf Course on Bismarck’s north side.

“We came here on the next Parade and instantly fell in love,” Cindy recalled as she and her husband Dean sat in their gorgeous living room with an expansive view of the neighborhood. “It was love at first site. We put an offer in the next day, contingent that ours sold. But the Hazen market was so slow, we were worried we weren’t going to get it, in which case we decided we would have one built just like it. But our home sold in five weeks, while we were on vacation!”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]

Verity Homes Experience

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]When asked about their buying experience with Verity Homes, both Cindy and Dean were quick to offer praise to Rory and Ashley Anderson. Rory, one of our New Home Specialists, and Ashley, our Sales Manager and in-house design consultant, teamed up to help the Navratils throughout the buying process… and appears to have left a strong lasting impression.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”6401″ image_size=”large”][vc_column_text]“I thought Rory and Ashley were so friendly,” Cindy said. “We hit it off so good with them, they made us feel at home. Almost like they knew us for many years. Rory even gave us a recommendation on a contractor to use, which we did, and the work turned out great.”

Like most new homes, the Navratils said they did experience a few issues early on, but were again quick to praise the Verity team for responding quickly to correct the concerns.

“It’s all been good,” Dean assured us. “We’ve had a few issues with siding and a window.
